Enprotech Corp. acquires American Hydro

Cleveland-based Enprotech Corp. has announced the acquisition of American Hydro, York, Pa., a business of Wärtsilä Corp. and provider of custom hydropower refurbishment and turbine services.

Enprotech, a subsidiary of Itochu Corp., provides maintenance, repair, rebuild, and modernization services to North American manufacturers using heavy industrial machinery and equipment. The company serves the automotive, appliance, general manufacturing, oil and gas, renewable energy, steel, and aluminum manufacturing industries from seven facilities in North America.
