Summer is turning into fall field show season, and dozens of new machinery innovations for farmers have been announced. Despite low equipment sales for nearly all segments of the market in July, manufacturers continue to introduce new products. In case you missed the flurry of news, here’s a closer look at the latest planting, harvesting, and other equipment for farmers.

AGCO Corporation introduced the Gleaner T Series combine which will be available as a Class 6, 7, or 8 machine.

When announcing the new combine, the company touted the new Dura Drive system. The two-speed, shift-on-the-fly transmission provides a wider speed range — up to 25 mph — with fewer gears.

Besides increased productivity, the technology improvements included with the Deluxe cab option provide greater visibility.

Case IH released two new combines, completing the AF series launched in early 2024 with the AF11. The single-rotor AF9 and AF10 combines feature a redesign of both Class 9 and Class 10 machines.

Increased horsepower in the AF9 (634 hp) and AF10 (775 hp) allows for increased harvest speed. Grain handling capacity is matched from header to spreader to increase harvest efficiency.

At the same time, Case IH announced it is offereing a new corn head series that pairs with the new harvesters as well as late model Axial-Flow combines.

Massey Ferguson has announced the new MF 9S Series tractor with a focus on achieving overall lower cost of ownership by maximizing uptime.

The MF 9S Series was built to meet the demands of the optimal planting window as that time gets shorter, averaging less than 12 days of suitable planting conditions in the last five years, according to Derek Reusser, tactical marketing manager for Massey Ferguson.

There are six models in the new MF 9S Series, ranging from 285 to 425 hp.
